1.- What is iAbogado?
iAbogado has become one of the main providers of legal information and services for English-speaking individuals and businesses in Spain. The iabogado.com and spainlawyer.com websites are owned and operated by the law firm iAbogado Servicios Jurídicos, S.L., whose sole director is Javier Muñoz Pereira. The law firm is based in Madrid, however, our team of English speaking lawyers render services wherever and whenever required throughout the country.

2.- How to best use our site.
Our website includes hundreds of free practical articles on a wide range of legal topics ( 'Legal Guide'), and provides the ability to obtain legal advice via email, private chat, phone or face-to-face ('Ask a Lawyer'), find licensed attorneys in Spain ('Find a Lawyer') or purchase pre-packaged legal services delivered by Spanish solicitors for a fixed one-off price ('Hire a Lawyer').

3.- What is the difference between iAbogado and other legal sites?
iAbogado provides pre-packaged legal services delivered by a Spanish Lawyer for a fixed price established beforehand. In addition, if you need a quick answer to a legal question you may contact experienced Spanish lawyers through the Internet or over the phone.

4.- Who's behind this website?
This website is operated by the company iAbogado Servicios Jurídicos, S.L. registered in the Companies Registry of Madrid. Registry information: Volume 16.184, Sheet 96, Section 8, Page M-274402 , with main office in calle Mesena, 33, 28033-Madrid, Spain, VAT no. B82907601. Its sole director is the Lawyer Javier Muñoz Pereira, member no. 55.209 of the Bar Association of Madrid.

5.- Referral Lawyers.
In some specific cases, legal services may be rendered in cooperation with Referral Lawyers by virtue of an agreement of legal cooperation between iAbogado SL and the external lawyer. iAbogado has an extensive national network of referral lawyers who handle legal issues throughout the country.

iAbogado will match you with lawyers who hold themselves out as practising in the legal area relevant to your circumstances. We work with some of the most experienced lawyers in the country.

6.- Referral Lawyer Responsibilities.
The Referral Lawyer shall act in accordance with the ethic rules and due diligence, respecting the privacy of our users and maintaining the professional secrecy. iAbogado expressly denies liability and undertakes no responsibility for the results of any legal representation provided by any of the Referral Lawyers or law firms referred.

7.- Additional Legal Services.
If you need additional services not included in the legal service purchased, you should contact iAbogado SL for more information and prices. On no account should the referral lawyer duly assigned to you request additional fees.

8.- Methods of payment.
iAbogado provides several easy methods of payment for our services:

• Credit card (via 4B- Banco Gallego secure server)
• Cheque
• Paypal (www.paypal.com)
• Payment by phone
• Wire transfer.

9.- Data Protection and Security.

10.- Invoicing.
You will receive via email an invoice for the fixed price legal service or advice purchased if you so request. Your address and VAT / ID no. for tax purposes must be indicated in your request.

11.- Cancellation of the service purchased.
You may cancel the contract in relation to fixed price legal service within 7 working days upon written notice to us through any contact method, and your payment will therefore be refundable within 15 working days, discounted the bank charges for the transfer and provided that the service had not already been rendered.

You will have no right to cancel the advice service selected once it is paid, and your payment will therefore be non-refundable.

12.- Customer Service.
If you're having trouble finding answers to your questions or need to learn more about our site, our services, etc. customer service representatives are available to help. Please contact us here.

13.- Registration is not necessary
Neither registration nor identification or payment is needed to enter the "Legal Guide" section. Identification and bank details will be required in order to purchase any of our fixed price or legal advice services contained in sections "Hire a Lawyer" and "Ask a Lawyer" respectively.
